Compared to the Radeon RX 6650 XT, which was not playable, the RTX 4060 Ti is at least somewhat playable and offers 150% more performance than the 6650 XT.
Compared to the RTX 3060 Ti, the new RTX 4060 Ti is only 8% faster with Ray Tracing in this game. It’s at 65FPS, but there were some scenes in the benchmark that dipped down into the ’30s-’40s on performance.

In Forspoken, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti barely offers a playable gameplay experience at 1080p with Ray Tracing. We are going to enable both Ray Tracing options, Shadows, and Ambient Occlusion. We are going to customize the settings and enable the highest graphics settings, including Ultra High Texture Memory. The game supports all upscaling methods and Ray Tracing.

Forspokenįorspoken was released on January 24th, 2023, on the PC and uses the Luminous Engine. Enabling DLSS further improves performance by 26% bringing it over 100FPS with Ray Tracing at 1080p. The AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT struggles, and is not playable, the new GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is a whopping 91% faster than the Radeon RX 6650 XT. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is 14% faster than the previous generation GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, which was also playable at 74FPS. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti allows a playable gameplay experience at 84FPS. In Returnal, at 1080p we have enabled the EPIC Ray Tracing options. For ray tracing tests we have enabled Ray Traced Shadows and Reflections at EPIC settings. We utilize the graphics preset to set EPIC graphics settings with an unlocked framerate, and everything is enabled. The game supports real-time ray tracing effects, particle systems, and volumetric rendering. Returnal was launched on the PC in February of 2023 and is based on Unreal Engine 4. For video card comparisons we are using a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE and Radeon RX 6650 XT video cards. We will use DLSS on NVIDIA GPUs and FSR on AMD GPUs. We will include DLSS and FSR performance on the same graph in the games that are supported. 1440p will be covered on the following page. We are going to focus on the 1080p gameplay performance with Ray Tracing with the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti video card on this page.
